Rick's wife, Donna, has been his life and ministry partner over 43 years. They have served at Argyle since 1994.
After serving Argyle for 15 years in various pastoral roles, Rick was chosen in 2010 to be our primary communicator, vision‐caster and leader, and oversees our Worship Arts Ministry. His passion is to be a man after God's own heart, believing that the heart is what really matters Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life. (Proverbs 4:23, CSB).
Rick is also an accomplished singer, musician, songwriter and audio engineer who has been in ministry his whole adult life. He and Donna are the parents of three wonderful adult children; twin girls Melissa and Michelle and son, Rich, and proud grandparents of Melissa's daughters, Magnolia, Georgia & August, and Rich's son, Liam.
Hal and his wife, Betty, have been members of the Argyle family since 1994, serving in a number of areas. Hal joined the staff in 2003 and was ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2005.
Hal's responsibilities include adult ministry, LifeGroups, guest services, education, and assimilation. He is accountable for business affairs, budget and finances, administration, and facilities. He is Webmaster, network manager, and assists with technical services.
Hal's passion is to work with people whose lives are being changed. I get to talk to people who are making spiritual decisions and I get to witness what happens when The Holy Spirit is working in their lives. This is exciting stuff!
A member at Argyle since 2000, David and his wife Kim are active in many areas of our fellowship. Ordained to the Gospel ministry late in 2008, David joined the staff in January, 2009. He leads Alive, our ministry to teens in grades 6‐12, and Momentum, our ministry to young single adults.
David and Kim are multi-talented, both playing in our Praise Band and involved in the whole ministry at Argyle. David brings to the staff a touch of fashionable craziness which is the traditional role of Youth Pastors.
David's particular passion is to bring the love of Christ to as many people as possible.
David and Kim are the proud parents of adult daughters Hannah and Sarah.
Donna Thompson is our Administrator. Donna, her husband Keith, and the entire Thompson family have been deeply involved at Argyle since 2002. Donna joined the staff in Summer, 2012.
Donna handles our front office, day‐to‐day operations, payroll, general ledger, and assists in all ministry areas. She is usually the first face or voice people encounter when they deal with our church during the week.
Donna and Keith are parents of Kaleigh and Hunter, and grandparents of Lucas.
Terri Johnson is Director of Argyle Christian Preschool. She and her husband Darrell have been members of Argyle since 1997 and have served in many areas, but in particular with our children.
As ACP Director Terri leads the staff and faculty, insuring that the children entrusted to our care get the very best Christian academic experience. We are very proud of ACP, and Terri's leadership is a major contributor to the quality of our preschool.
Terri and Darrell are the proud parents of adult daughters, Baileigh and Chelsea.
Phil Massicotte formally joined the staff to lead our LifeGroups in February, 2018. Phil is a graduate of Trinity Baptist College with a B.A. in Church Ministries.
Phil was ordained as a deacon in 1990, and now serves as an elder and as moderator. He is also deeply involved in our leadership development and discipleship efforts.
Phil and his wife, Lyn, became members of Argyle in 1988 and have both served in a variety of ministries over the years. Married in 1983, they raised 3 children in our church (Philip, Stephen & Rachel) and currently have two grandchildren (and have requested many more!)
Growing up at Argyle, Monica has been a member of the church since 2001. She has been involved in our Worship Arts Team through the years and currently sings on the praise team. She works full time as a physical therapist.
Monica became the Community Engagement Leader in September 2020. She has a heart for the community and believes that the Church should be the hands and feet of Jesus outside the physical building.
Stan Stufflebeam and his wife, Sue, have been at Argyle since 2001.
Stan wears many hats at Argyle. He is our Custodian, caring for our facilities and seeing to general maintenance. He is Director of the Worship Band, where he plays trumpet. He is also our Music Librarian, keeping our performance charts under control, and where they need to be when they need to be there.
A little known fact about Stan – he was the church's first volunteer Music Director when it was founded in 1983.
